Wait, what is roller derby?

Roller derby is a fast-paced contact team sport that requires speed, strategy, and athleticism.  We exclusively play flat track roller derby which takes place on a flat floor (as opposed to a banked track), which evolved from earlier versions of roller derby in 2001.  Flat track roller derby has quickly grown to encompass more than 400 leagues worldwide.  The bouts that we compete in are played with the ruleset created and maintained by the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).  Check out the informational video below, made by our very own Rodent of Unusual Size!  You can learn more about WFTDA and the sport of modern roller derby at their website www.WFTDA.com.
